Chris joined Cortland to help design, build, and manage the institutional funds business. He brings with him nearly 25 years of experience creating best-in-class investment products for institutional investors and specific expertise in commingled fund portfolio management. His experience includes over a decade at The Townsend Group where he was a Partner, Portfolio Manager, and member of the Investment Committee. Prior to that, Chris was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley Capital International where he designed and managed private market investable indices. Over the course of his career, he has been a participant and speaker at PREA, NCREIF, ULI, and IREI conferences in addition to publishing articles in various academic journals.
